Visiting the MCA

Open daily from 10am–5pm, you can also see contemporary art after dark every Thursday when the galleries, Cafe and Store are all open until 9pm. Closed 25 December.

Free daily guided tours and a downloadable app introduce you to the MCA’s Collection, exhibitions and activities.

The MCA’s team of knowledgeable MCA Hosts are always on hand to provide further information and artwork insights.

Information for groups wishing to visit the MCA including how to book a group visit can be found on the Group Bookings page.

The MCA Insight app has what’s on information, visitation information and maps of the Museum that can show you what floor you are on and what artworks are around you. You can even create your own online gallery with the app. Read more about MCA Insight or download it.

The MCA is located on Circular Quay West, Sydney. It is easily accesible by public transport.

CAR: Wilson Car Park Stations at 155 George Street (wheelchair accessible) and 35 Pitt Street
