– Where

NEXT UP….. Genext: Underbelly Arts
6-8pm 31 July 2015

Genext returns in July offering exclusive after-hours access to The Lab at Underbelly Arts on historic Cockatoo island.

Program includes:

  • Free access to Underbelly Arts
  • Participatory workshops developed by Underbelly artists.
  • Live music
  • An array of brilliant hands-on experiences and art-making activities curated and coordinated by the MCA Youth Committee
  • Mouthwatering snacks and drinks.
  • Free ferry to and from Parramatta ferry wharf

IMPORTANT – *RSVP link will only be released three weeks before the event. RSVP is essential – please bring electronic or physical copy of RSVP ticket with you on the night*

Genext is an award-winning program offering Sydney teenagers the chance to meet, explore and create with established artists and like-minded young people, after-hours at the MCA. Genext is supervised by the MCA Creative Learning team and is drug, cigarette and alcohol free.

With the support of The Balnaves Foundation, generationext has been offering exclusive MCA experiences to young people since 2005.

BUS SUBSIDY FOR GROUPS

The MCA is pleased to offer eligible organisations financial assistance towards the cost of transporting a group of young people to Genext events. Contact belinda.sculley@mca.com.au for information.
