BOOKED OUT!

Genext is an award-winning program offering Sydney teenagers the chance to meet, explore and create with established artists and like-minded young people, after-hours at the MCA.

Genext returns in September offering exclusive after-hours access to MCA exhibitions Energies: Haines and Hinterding AND Aleks Danko: My Fellow Aus-tra-aliens (double goodness!)

Program includes:

  • Participatory experiences and performances developed by Artists
  • Two stages for live music
  • An array of brilliant hands-on workshops and art-making activities curated and coordinated by the MCA Youth Committee

*Snack, drinks and prizes.

RSVP ESSENTIAL – please bring electronic or physical copy of RSVP ticket with you on the night

Genext is supervised by the MCA Audiences team and is strictly drug, cigarette and alcohol free.

With the support of The Balnaves Foundation, Genext has been offering exclusive MCA experiences to young people since 2005.
