Welcome to Early Learning at the MCA!

We are passionate about Early Learning here at the MCA. We recognise how crucial it is for very young children to have the opportunity for meaningful engagement, on their own terms. It’s about children’s rights to beauty, wonder and complex aesthetic experiences.

Our Artist Educator led Art Escapades program provides young children and their teachers with a rich art appreciation and art making experience. Children connect with contemporary art in the Gallery and experiment with art making processes in the National Centre for Creative Learning.

Bella is a FREE program for young children with disability and access requirements. Discover the multisensory Bella Room and work with us to tailor the program to suit the needs and interests of your group.

In addition to our Art Escapades and Bella programs, we’re proud to also offer a suite of NESA accredited teacher professional development programs.

What a wonderful time we had today, with great excitement being expressed throughout each and every aspect of this excursion. We now look forward to visiting again next week!
