The Program promotes Australian art globally, helping Australian artists reach new audiences.

Bella Plus Groups

A social and creative learning experience for a group of adults with disability or access requirements

Look, listen, share and create! Engage with contemporary art in fun and social ways through an interactive gallery exploration and experimental art-making activities.

Explore the multi-sensory Bella Room, an interactive artwork commissioned to engage and inspire people with access needs to connect with the work of contemporary artists through sensory experiences.

The Bella Plus Groups is for individual groups. Each program is led by MCA Artist Educators and is individually tailored and responsive to the access requirements and interests of the adults participating.

The MCA Bella Program was established in 1993 through the generosity of MCA patrons, Dr Edward Jackson AM and Mrs Cynthia Jackson AM, and the Jackson family, in memory of their late daughter and sister Belinda.
