Value Your Mind
– Mental Health Month Drop-in Event

Drop-in to the National Centre for Creative Learning for an afternoon and evening of badge-making, inkblot experimentation and collaborative art-making in response to our current exhibitions Aleks Danko: MY FELLOW AUS-TRA-ALIENS and Matthys Gerber and the Mental Health Month theme, Value Your Mind.

Explore the interactive and sensory Jackson Bella Room and join Bella Room artist David Capra and his collaborator Teena the dachshund in conversation with arts writer Carrie Miller about her search for the perfect 'mind dog’, a furry pal who helps when it comes to managing the world’s pressures.

Learn how students from Woniora Road School use art-making to map and navigate their emotional landscapes, and contribute your own tips and tricks for valuing your mind in a collaborative artworks to be part of raising mental health awareness.

In partnership with Northern Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Specialist Rehabilitation Service.
