Special Event

MCA Social
– Presented by MCA Young Ambassadors

Don’t miss out on your chance to party in the name of Art!

MCA SOCIAL’s third year is shaping up to be a night to remember, go all out with your fashion and get into the Art Eclectic theme.

Cocktails and Canapes will be themed for the evening, you can expect some Heston-style gourmet experiences and MCA resident mixologist Stu creating magic at the Cocktail bar.

Getting the party started, DJ Zé will be spinning hits spanning the decades ensuring the dance floor is pumping from the off. Raising the MCA SOCIAL roof from 10-midnight will be the Lovebomb DJs.

Generating crucial support for the MCA’s Annual Primavera Exhibition, the event will showcase the work of 2014 Primavera artist Marian Tubbs. Meet former Primavera artists and help us raise our $50,000 target for this internationally recognised platform for the best of emerging Australian art.

There are fabulous prizes up for grabs in the MCA Social Raffle, with the top prize being a 12-month rental from Artbank valued at over $5,000.

Dress: To Impress: 'Art Eclectic’ – Think clashing colours, outrageous outfits and over the top flair.

About Primavera
Primavera is widely recognised as a platform for launching the careers of young Australian artists. Since 1992, the Primavera series has showcased the works of artists in the early stages of their career, many of whom have gone on to exhibit nationally and internationally. In 2014, Primavera celebrates its 23rd edition.
