Special Event

generationext
– Spring-time shenanigans with three new exhibitions including Claire Healy & Sean Cordeiro, Primavera and Ken Whisson

The MCA Youth Committee are pumped for this generationext event. As we step into Spring, teenagers are celebrating the end of the HSC, the start of warmer weather, and three new vibrant MCA shows – Primavera 2012 with art by young Australian artists, the retrospective Ken Whisson: As If, and the exhibition of works by Claire Healy & Sean Cordeiro.

On the night, chat to Healy and Cordeiro, and meet Primavera artist Anastasia Klose who will be performing dance routines to MTV video clips as part of her artwork The Re-Living Room.

All this, plus everything that generationext is famous for, including live music by new bands, tasty food, art workshops run by the Youth Committee, and opportunities to meet loads of like-minded people.
