Often overlooked and challenging to display in a gallery, sound is an unavoidable quality of any installation based work. Academic and curator Caleb Kelly will present a workshop looking at the use of sound in installation art. Kelly has previously curated sound focused exhibitions at Artspace, Performance Space, Dunedin Public Art Gallery, City Gallery Wellington and ISSUE Project Space (NY), along with sound performance series High Reflections and impermanent.audio.
