Future Classic and the MCA have combined forces once again to present FCxMCA – an immersion of contemporary art, music and good times in the spectacular surrounds of the MCA Sculpture Terrace, on selected Sundays throughout summer.

The MCA Sculpture Terrace will play host to a handpicked selection of high-calibre international and local electronic talent, performing sets inspired by and in complement to the Museum’s Collection.

Bio’s

Kenji Takimi

Kenji Takimi is a true pioneer of the leftfield scene. His label Crue-L Records has been at the forefront of Japanese alternative music since its inception 24 years ago, releasing the likes of Cornelius and Buffalo Daughter, as well as Kenji’s own production projects Crue-L Grand Orchestra, Luger E-Go and Being Borings. Remixing Nina Kraviz, Sebastian Tellier, Cut Copy, Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music) and Boris, alongside studio work with dance favourites Theo Parrish and DJ Harvey, Kenji is one of Japan’s busiest and most sought-after DJs with an unmistakable romantic, spacey and eclectic style.

Pelvis

Pelvis are a multifaceted leisure-system celebrating dance, music, film, visual and spatial design through their parties, clothing, mixes, edits and other projects. Stimulating the senses of like minded mammals worldwide since their immaculate conception in 2012, they are encouraging of any/all dance floors with a preference for the long the late and the loud.
