Held at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Carriageworks and the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA), this conference will address current critical thinking and art practices in contemporary Australian art, responding specifically to artworks and artists in The National 2017: New Australian Art exhibition.
Join art-making workshops and discussions with contemporary artists, connect with curators and education specialists from 3 key institutions and explore new ideas and strategies for the classroom with your colleagues.

Completing The National 2017: new Australian art educators conference you will contribute 7 hours of QTC addressing 2.1.2, 2.2.2, 3.3.2, 3.4.2, 6.2.2 and 6.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Accreditation in NSW.
