– John Mawurndjul

Educator Exclusive evenings invite teachers to experience new MCA exhibitions and uncover behind-the-scenes perspectives with talks from artists and curators.

Explore new teaching ideas and resources, connect with MCA Artist Educators and enjoy refreshments with your colleagues in the creative spaces of our learning centre.

Join us for some insights on the first major survey of works by John Mawurndjul, one of Australia’s most important artists. Working within the long tradition of bark painting, Mawurndjul’s work explores themes of spirituality, mythology and life cycles.
