Digital Excursion

Digital Excursion: Colour and Emotion - March 17

Digital Excursions or Virtual Excursions enable teachers to enrich classroom teaching without leaving their school.

Connect students to exciting contemporary art through this innovative program that explores how artists use colour to convey emotion. Using a fun game show theme classes choose their own path encountering artworks and hands-on activities designed to build students creative muscles.

Colour and Emotion emphasises the following concepts to foster in students an inspiring relationship to creativity and contemporary art:

Colouring outside the lines and breaking the rules
Connecting with artists as thinkers and creators
Playing with process over product
Bringing your own story, taking fresh meaning
Looking and thinking in new ways

Duration: 45 minutes
Suitable for Stages 2-3

Sessions are available at the following times:

March 17: 10am, 11am, 12pm 2pm

Click the dates above to book through DART if a NSW public school – otherwise contact learning@mca.com.au
