Workshop

Corroboree ArtPlay

In celebration of Corroboree Sydney explore an interactive art installation together with your toddler and sing along to the catchy songs of Aunty Wendy’s Mob for an extraordinary sensory experience. Honouring Aboriginal children and celebrating Aboriginal cultures Aunty Wendy will have everyone involved in song, dance and drama experiences that extend the messages in her songs. As a non-Aboriginal teacher Aunty Wendy shares her experience to demonstrate how a non-Aboriginal person can embrace and introduce an Aboriginal perspective to young people. The Aboriginal Programs Unit and Performing Arts Unit (NSW Dept. of Education and Training) have accredited Wendy’s performance.
