The Program promotes Australian art globally, helping Australian artists reach new audiences.

Workshop

Contemporary Kids School Holiday Program
–  Memories and dreams

Unpack your imagination and enter a world of fantasy and memories in a week-long art-making extravaganza inspired by art of Jenny Watson.

Grab an activity sheet and explore Jenny Watson: The Fabric of Fantasy through fun drawing, writing and performance activities. Keep an eye out for a recurring cast of real and fictional characters including horses, ballerinas, rock guitarists and cats!

Back in the Creative Studios, play with portraiture and experiment with a variety of mixed media materials to create into your own autobiographical artwork.

A Family Ticket is valid from Tuesday 26 September–Sunday 1 October 2017 which provides access to this drop-in program and art making.

Vacation Care Groups
Vacation Care groups are very welcome to join the Contemporary Kids program. We ask that children are accompanied by supervising adults. Supervision ratio is 1 adult per 3 children.
$5 per child. Supervising adults FREE
