Explore an interactive installation by Sydney-based artist David Capra commissioned by the MCA for this unique space that invites children and young people with specific needs to look, touch, listen, play and imagine.
11am-3pm: Experience Teena’s Bathtime, NCCL Level 3- Head into the brand new Bella room, and experience the joy in bathing a giant Teena! Bubbles will be everywhere!
11am-3pm: Doggie YouTube film festival, NCCL Level 3- Sit down and watch a non-stop short films starring your favourite four legged friends!
11-3pm : Teena gets crafty- NCCL level 3- Bring along a tee or a tote bag & using special sausage dog stencils make a one of a kind artwork.
11.30am-12.30pm: Doggie meet and greet & pooch parade led by Anastasia Klose and Fransworth, Foyer, Level 1 The stars of the doggie and artworld, Teena and Farnsworth will be doing a special meet and greet in the level one foyer of the MCA, Come and have a pat, and doggie cuddle.”
1-1.30pm: David & Teena in conversation with Dawn & Lucy, Lecture Theatre Level 2- Hear David and Teena in conversation with Dawn-joy Leong and service dog Lucy
1.30-2pm: Make your own no-bake dog treats, National Centre for Creative Learning- Bring along a container to take home your very own no bake dog treats, filled with yummy pumpkin and oats!

About the Bella program
Exploring the Bella Room is a key experience of our free Bella program for children, young people and adults with specific needs – including physical, intellectual, emotional or behavioral disability.
Bella invites participants to explore contemporary art and art-making in tailored programs led by MCA Artist Educators.
