ARTBAR January 2016
– Curated by Rosie Deacon

'Koala Nutbush’

Get intoxicated on colour and whimsy as Sydney artist Rosie Deacon curates an evening of kitsch, craft and Australiana to kick off the first ARTBAR of 2016, dubbed Koala Nutbush

Welcome the new year as the Museum transforms into a fantastical 1980’s Aussie backyard inhabited by handmade animal sculptures – bonzer!

Give it a burl;

  • Bush Ranger Bob’s interactive dance performance
  • Getting a hole-in-one at the glittering mini putt-putt golf course created by Rosie Deacon
  • Meeting Teena the sausage dog
  • Giselle Stanborough’s performative lecture on ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’
  • Live music by The Willy Wagtail Western All Stars
  • Taking a trip to the Golden Gumnut Cottage
  • Tunes spun by DJ Sveta on the rooftop bar

Plus roaming artworks, classic Aussie birthday party games and mates rates Grayson Perry: My Pretty Little Art Career tickets.
