Socially-interested, site-specific and participation-loving Lara Thoms is your next MCA ARTBAR curator. Discover expanded approaches to art as artists collaborate in unexpected ways.

A registered nurse runs a meditation space filled with video art… a lecture on the history of rattails by Kevin Jin… Maria White carries out a karate performance work with teenage Muslim girls… and Jackson Stacey barters trinkets from an oversized doghouse with his young friend 'Squeaky’.

Let’s expand this further: Tom Polo and his dad place site-specific text around the Museum… Liz Dunn and volunteers who lived through 1984 decriminalisation of Homosexuality in NSW occupy the MCA with a party within a party… artist Corey Pugh performs a dance with his former psychologist… Nic Holas presents personal insights into the queer sex industry.

And Lara Thoms collaborates with a… professional party planner…
