Conference

ACE: Arts Conference for Educators

ACE brings together Australia’s leading arts organisations for a premium professional development program focused on music, dance, visual art and theatre practice. ACE fuses theory with practice, offering inspiring keynote presentations from industry leaders and practical sessions with staff from conference partners the Sydney Opera House, MCA, Sydney Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare, Sydney Dance Company, Australian Theatre for Young People and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

Key note speakers:
Robyn Ewing, Professor of Teacher Education and the Arts, University of Sydney
Andrew Upton, Artistic Director, Sydney Theatre Company
Andy Griffiths, award-winning children’s author (author of The Day My Bum Went Psycho and The Treehouse series)

This has by far been the best professional development I have attended. The activities were practical and suitable for the classroom.
Aylish Flannery, Gunnedah Public School
