Blog – VSO video auditions

Posted on Oct. 18, 2013 in News.

With the upcoming War Is Over! (if you want it): Yoko Ono exhibition set to be hugely popular, the MCA sent out a call for new Visitor Service Officers (VSOs).

VSOs are the friendly, knowledgeable folk you see wearing jackets in the MCA galleries, who are there to help you enjoy your visit, and who are all artists and a vast variety of different things in their own right.

Instead of the usual job advertisement, we decided on something different this time:

We asked for a 30 second video with a little about who people are, their favourite artwork, their experience in customer service driven roles and why they want to work with us.

Check out some of our favourite entries below – and keep an eye out for each of these individuals at (War Is Over! (if you want it), they’ll be working with us over the summer!
