Visiting the MCA
Welcome to The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.
Open daily from 10am–5pm, you can also see contemporary art after dark every Thursday when the galleries, Cafe and Store are all open until 9pm. Closed 25 December.

Free daily guided tours and a downloadable app introduce you to the MCA’s Collection, exhibitions and activities.
The MCA’s team of knowledgeable MCA Hosts are always on hand to provide further information and artwork insights.

The MCA Insight app has what’s on information, visitation information and maps of the Museum that can show you what floor you are on and what artworks are around you. You can even create your own online gallery with the app. Read more about MCA Insight or download it.
The MCA is located on Circular Quay West, Sydney. It is easily accesible by public transport.

BUS: Circular Quay or George Street
CAR: Wilson Car Park Stations at 155 George Street (wheelchair accessible) and 35 Pitt Street
Sydney Traffic Update
Temporary traffic changes will take place on George Street at Essex Street, Bridge Street/Grosvenor Street, Hunter Street/Margaret Street and King Street intersections during the following times:
5am Sunday 30 November to 5am Monday 1 December (Essex, Bridge/Grosvenor and Hunter/Margaret intersections)
5am Sunday 7 December to 5am Monday 8 December (Hunter/Margaret and King intersections)
5am Sunday 14 December to 5am Monday 15 December (Hunter/Margaret and King intersections)
