BRIAN FUATA

How would you describe your performance in Workout?

Throughout the week, an office. On Sunday, a laboratory.

In what ways is your performance a work out?

It will be an improvisatory space in which I will work out what I will be doing and presenting at certain points throughout the day.

How do you envisage the audience engaging with your work? Is there audience participation?

The audience will be witness. There will be no participation, only observation.

How do you approach transforming the MCA’s new Level 1 North Gallery in one day?

I’m not interested in transformation but rather information. The North Gallery will become an object of information of the past and the present.

Will you have an online presence allowing the audience outside the Museum to follow your performance?

Maybe on email and sms texting, but that can only happen if I have your mobile number or email address.

How can people find out more about you?

www.brianfuata.com and www.wrongsolo.com

Brian Fuata’s performance runs Sunday 28 April 2013 from 10am to 5pm in the MCA’s Level 1 North Gallery.
