Young Creatives

MCA’s Young Creatives program is full of opportunities for you and your friends to create, think, make and get involved. From festival-style experiences with hundreds of like-minded young people, to intimate art-making workshops with artists, the MCA offers the chance for every young creative to take part in an adventurous and diverse range of art activities.

Choose from the MCA’s social and cultural events for young people, including generationext, the afterhours event exclusively for ages 12 to 18.

Hands-on Activities

Feeling inspired? Roll up your sleeves for a workshop. From graphic art and music, to painting, zine-making and digital mash-ups, you can create your own piece of art.

Leadership Opportunities

Gain experience working alongside artists and art professionals as part of the MCA’s Youth Committee and Youth Connector programs
