Interested in visiting for the first time? Get to know more about contemporary art through the MCA’s community programs which provide art experiences in a social setting for visitors new to contemporary art.

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander programs

Create, explore and respond to work by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) artists. The MCA offers a number of important programs that focus on enhancing the engagement of visitors, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander audiences, with contemporary art and ideas. Working closely with targeted community groups, programs are developed and presented either at the MCA or offsite.
