As a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity, the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia relies on the generosity of individuals to support our exhibitions and learning programs.
Become an MCA Ambassador
The MCA Ambassadors are a dynamic group of art patrons from across Australia whose annual donations help the MCA achieve its potential. Being an Ambassador is a great way to support the MCA and offers you the chance to be more involved in the life of the Museum.
You can choose your level of support:
- Visionary $25,000+ per annum
- Innovator $10,000 – $24,999 per annum
- Futurist $5,000 – $9,999 per annum
- Contemporary $1,500 – $4,999 per annum
All donations are tax-deductible.

Become an MCA Young Ambassador
Anyone aged 18 to 40 with a passionate interest in contemporary art and a desire to give something back to the arts can become an MCA Young Ambassador. Individuals who join will enjoy a dynamic, year-long schedule of privileged, behind-the-scenes art-based events at the MCA and other arts venues across Sydney and Australia.

Employment
The MCA is entering an exciting period in its history. In March 2012 the MCA will reopen following a complete refurbishment of its existing building and a major new extension, which will increase the size of the museum by almost 50%. The MCA is currently recruiting new staff, all details are on the work at the MCA page.
Volunteer
There are many ways to volunteer at the MCA, through the MCA Youth Committee, MCA Youth Connector, Volunteer Guides program, and Internships & work experience.
