Workshop

Sunday Family Fun Day
– Futuristic Fossils (With AUSLAN Interpreter)

Celebrate creativity with the whole family!

First pick up your Gallery Explorer from Level 3, which will take you on an animal hunt around the gallery. Spot a crocodile, a dog, an albatross or even a dinosaur and collect your special stamps. Today is all about using your imagination and creating your own hybrid animal sculpture. Using recycled materials including wicker, string, paper and wool you can be as creative as you would like to be! Finish your art-making activity by taking a photo, using your camera phone, of your sculpture in the Multimedia Studio and experiment with the lights of the projector. Place your sculpture on the plinths and photograph both your sculpture and its shadow.

Ages 4+
FREE, drop-in

An AUSLAN interpreter will be available during this session
Sunday Family fun Days take place on the last Sunday of every month (excluding December)
