Special Event

Sounds on the Terrace

Experience the magic of Circular Quay at sunset from the prime vantage point of the MCA Sculpture Terrace this summer. Soak up the afternoon rays and watch the sun slip into the harbour as you listen to the effervescent sounds of up and coming instrumentalists and singer-songwriters. Enjoy great food, wine and other drinks from the MCA Cafe until 9.00pm. Just another reason why the MCA is the place to be on a Thursday night.

Thursday 22 November 2012 – Will Henderson
Sydney-based professional guitarist Will Henderson will invigorate the MCA with unique flamenco flavour. Will has studied with luminaries such as Raffaele Agostino, Damian Wright, Steve Brian and Guy Strazzulo, and is distinguishable through his passionate and charismatic performances, paired with phenomenal technical ability. He has performed solo at the Sydney Opera House, and has studied and performed flamenco in Spain.
