Sounds on the Terrace
– with Fernando Aragones

Experience the magic of Circular Quay at sunset from the prime vantage point of the MCA Sculpture Terrace this summer. Soak up the afternoon rays and watch the sun slip into the harbour as you listen to the effervescent sounds of up and coming instrumentalists and singer-songwriters. Enjoy great food, wine and other drinks from the MCA Cafe until 9.00pm. Just another reason why the MCA is the place to be on a Thursday night.

“Roots/Folk/Soul with an undeniable Samba/Funk feel” Brazilian born Fernando combines the funky rhythms of South America with the acoustic folk rock of the Australian coast to create a unique fusion of rustic roots/folk/soul with undeniable samba funk feel. Infused with strong soulful vocals flowing seamlessly from English to Portuguese he harnesses an array of influences and presents them in his unified, unique and alluring style.
