Lecture: Philip Ursprung - SOLD OUT was one of the sessions.

Join international speaker Philip Ursprung, Professor of History of Art and Architecture at ETH Zürich as he explores the interface between art and architecture looking at the work of Olafur Eliasson, Peter Zumthor and Herzog de Meuron. This will be followed by a discussion panel with Rachel Kent, Senior Curator MCA, and others.

Presented in partnership with the UTS School of Architecture with the Australian Institute of Architects and the Consulate General of Switzerland.

Interstices 2012: Immaterial Materialities: Materiality and Interactivity in Art and Architecture

Organised by Sandra Karina Loschke (UTS School of Architecture) in partnership with the Australian Institute of Architects, The Museum of Contemporary Art and the Consulate General of Switzerland.

Join national and international architects, curators, historians, and artists in a three-day symposium discussing materiality and interactivity in art and architecture. Engage with a host of international speakers from the Bartlett/UCL, California College of the Arts, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Technical University of Vienna, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design London, Université Laval/Canada, and University of Auckland as well as our very own speakers from UTS, RMIT, USyd, UNSW, UC and UQ.
