Workshop

Contemporary Kids
– Stray Threads

Feeling a bit strung out? Looking for something fun to do these holidays? Then come and be inspired by the woven fibre-based works in string theory: Focus on contemporary Australian art Discover how artists in the exhibition use materials from their everyday environment in surprising ways to create wondrous woven art forms. Back in the Creative Studios create your own 2D and 3D artworks using recycled materials from your own home environment and then collaborate with other kids by stringing your finished masterpieces together to create a giant woven wall of art. Start collecting plastic bags now to use and share on the day.
