Art Operatives
– Create your own gallery tour (Cancelled)

So maybe you’re not an artist. But are you an Art Operative? The MCA is offering a series of practical workshops aimed at exploring some of the creative projects that go on behind the scenes of the Museum.

In this first Art Operatives workshop, get intimate with Volume One: MCA Collection. Explore the galleries and get insight from a member of the MCA Curatorial and installation team about the process of creating the exhibition.

Then, with MCA guidance, begin creating your own customised tour of your favourite artworks. Gain confidence in public speaking and use of body language, get in the know about the lives of artists, their practice, and the stories behind the art. Throughout the workshop, practice guiding your own gallery tour, then perform it for friends and family at the end.

Suitable for 14+ years
Materials included.
