Connect with contemporary art and culture through FREE after-hours events for teenagers, linked to MCA exhibitions. generationext is supervised by MCA Learning staff and designed with input from the generationext Youth Committee, with a unique, 'no teachers. no parents' tagline.

Don’t miss generationext during the 17th Biennale of Sydney! The Biennale of Sydney is Australia’s biggest contemporary art event held every two years across a range of Sydney venues. This winter the Biennale is taking over all four floors of the MCA! Nearly 100 Australian
and international contemporary artists are responding to the Biennale theme of ‘the beauty of distance’.
