MCA LIBRARY
The MCA Library provides access to information of art specialists and researchers, students and MCA members.
ESL & NESB Programs
The MCA actively develops programs and resources for ESL (English as a Second Language) and NESB (Non-English Speaking Background) students. Programs offer rich and rewarding experiences in a gallery environment for ESL students and staff from school units, tertiary institutions, and private language colleges.
An experience with contemporary art can challenge ESL students in a stimulating way - the range of interpretive methods available such as wall text, room brochures, floor plans and catalogues are all excellent tools to provoke discussion and develop language skills.
60 minute program: $100 per 15 students or less (GST-free)
90 minute program: $130 per 15 students or less (GST-free)
120 minute program: $180 per 15 students or less (GST-free)
Member and Sydney Morning Herald subscriber schools: 10% discount
PSFP and CAP schools: 20% discount
Cost includes all art materials for practical programs unless otherwise stated. Teachers, carers and aides are free.

Please confirm your booking at least one (1) week prior to your visit.
MCA Learning advises that cancellations received less than three (3) working days before your intended MCA Educator-led visit will still be charged for in full.
For Educator-led sessions, MCA will invoice you after your visit.
For pre-paid bookings, the MCA does not offer refunds if fewer attend on the day.
