Syren is a fully immersive surround sound experience of Sydney Harbour abroad the ferry Regal, but with a powerful difference: all the sound content is generated in response to the ferry's geographical location and speed. The performance considers Sydney as a ‘working harbour’ and tracks the route of Sydney’s ferries allowing passengers to link the sonic experience on board with the visual experience of the surroundings.
