Matthew Ngui: points of view

Born in Singapore in 1962 and based in Perth for the past two decades, internationally recognised artist Matthew Ngui has been featured in the São Paulo Biennial (1996), Documenta X (1997), the Venice Biennale (2001) and the Gwang ju Biennale (2002).

Encompassing works from 1989 to the present, this exhibition explores cultural and social values through installation and video works which transform images, objects and experiences from everyday life. The exhibition also includes new work made specifically for the MCA.
