Erwin Wurm is an Austrian artist with an absurdist edge. His one-minute sculptures are a series of written instructions that guide viewers through activities and poses to become the sculptures themselves.

Highly regarded and very influential within the art scene for some time, Erwin Wurm’s work may not be all that familiar to most of Sydney, but they’re bound to remember his name after this show, especially when they’ve been standing with their head against the wall thinking about Adorno for one minute!
