MCA STATEMENT

In the light of recent media coverage about the MCA building site, the Museum would like to reassure its visitors that the MCA Galleries have been certified as safe by an industrial hygienist. They pose no risk to visitors of the Museum's summer exhibition. The MCA has a clearance certificate for its own offices and the Galleries open to the public. These spaces and the rooftop venues continue to operate as usual.

The MCA is currently undergoing redevelopment and is scheduled to re-open in its entirety in March 2012.

Get a first glimpse of one of the refurbished galleries ahead of the reopening when you visit Rafael Lozano-Hemmer: Recorders, ‘popping-up’ within the MCA from 16 December 2011 – 12 February 2012. This exhibition opens 10am – 5pm daily except for 25 December 2011 when the museum is closed.
